Valerie is the creative director of Arc Worldwide in Singapore and
a member of the Leo Burnett Global Creative Board. She has over
12 years of digital marketing experience gained from a range of
local, regional and international clients, including Singapore Airlines,
SilkAir, Hewlett Packard, Tiger Beer, SAP and, more recently, United
Overseas Bank (UOB).
Starting her digital career specializing in web usability and information
architecture, her portfolio has evolved from primarily digital work
to include integrated and CRM work. Her educational background and
appreciation for offline creativity has inspired her to take ideas
across various mediums, helping make Leo Burnett/Arc Worldwide the
biggest winner in the integrated category at the Creative Circle
Awards 2007.
Valerie have made her mark in One Show, London International, Effies,
Golden Drum, Asia Interactive Awards, Media Spikes, Webby’s
and the Digital Media Awards.

After previous stints with Kinetic and Proximity, David & Kun
decided to strike out on their own with Make Studios in 2007. As
the interactive director and creative director of this new found
agency, they have fused cutting edge technology with creative ideas
to create a new breed of digital experiences. From mobile, social,
gesture based interaction, multi-touch to collaborative experiences,
their exploratory journey for innovative forms of interaction pushes
on.
Apart from having the privilege of working with world renowned brands,
they have left their mark at numerous creative award shows both
locally and on the international scene including the One Show, Clio,
Cannes, Adfest, Media Spikes, Asia Interactive Awards, Singapore
Creative Circle Awards and more. In the past year, their handmade
work has found their way to clients such as Samsung, Calvin Klein,
SingTel, HP, Canon, Nokia and Sony Ericsson.
Martin was a founding member of Tribal/Singapore in 2001, and has
come a full circle. He is back with Tribal/Singapore after the last
five years in Shanghai, the latter two spent at Weiden + Kennedy
working on Nike.
He started in L.A. working on Sony Pictures websities including
Aliens, X-Files, Star Wars and Spiderman. From there he came to
Singapore to join the interactive team of DDB. Where, he developed
sites with business objectives for DDB clients.
He then went on to Shanghai where he developed a team working almost
exclusively on several very successful flash games, before joining
W+K.
Martina Zavagno, Italian, is the editor and founder of Adverblog.com,
one of the top European blogs dedicated to interactive marketing.
Since 2003 Adverblog collects, showcases and reviews the best online
marketing projects with a touch of wit and sense of humour.
Martina is a digital marketing expert with a specific expertise
in sport and lifestyle related projects. When working at Diesel,
she has been the project manager on client side of the multiple
award winning campaign "The Heidies - 15 megabytes of fame".
She is currently the Digital Marketing Manager of Nike Italy, responsible
of all local digital projects both from a media and advertising
point of view.
Melvyn is a Creative Director and winner of the coveted Ogilvy Giant
Award at Ogilvy & Mather Singapore. His wide-ranging projects
include interactive projects for Levi's, BP Castrol and digital
mobile works for Nokia, all of which won him accolades and awards
at local and international award shows. He defines the Levi's Copper
Jeans website as one of his capstones.
Once, working under the moniker 2manydesigners, he produced pro-bono
collaborative works with Nike, Woods & Woods, U.N.K.L.E. and
various music bands, to name a few.
For 4 years Melvyn ran the Lomography Embassy which promoted the
Russian Camera both locally and internationally. Through publicity
events that featured the Lomo Lifestyle, interest in this cult phenomenon
was positively revived. In 2005, Lomo was featured in the prominent
digital film festival RESFEST through a showcase of videos using
the cameras as a medium.
When he's not spending time on his über sexy iPhone/iPod, he
makes up lists of "Top Ten Favorite ___ of the Year" (think
babes, music and film). 'The Dark Knight' tops his film category
today.
Ronnie Liew is the Creative Development Manager of AKQA San Francisco.
He shares a passion for technology and that has led him to pursue
a career in the interactive advertising industry. A Flash developer
who applies programming at a creative level, Ronnie also explores
emerging technologies and employ them to achieve design objectives.
He relishes the challenge of complexity complicated by the need
for good, functional design.
Ronnie is also a web developer with in-depth knowledge of Web technologies.
He crafts websites, interactive media and rich internet applications.
A strong believer in web standards and compliancy, he is part of
the Singapore Flex Usergroup. His experience encompasses digital
work for Nike, Nokia, HP, DHL, Vodafone, Epson, XBox and Visa. He
has received awards for several projects, including accolades from
One Show Interactive and London International Awards.
When he is away from his Mac, Ronnie takes pictures, goes diving
and satisfies his fetish for old Nike kicks.
Shaun Branagan is Executive Creative Director of communications
company Love Communications, based in Sydney.
Prior to joining Love, he was Chairman and ECD of leading interactive
agency NetX.
And before that he was ECD at Saatchi & Saatchi in Hong Kong.
Apart from winning a few awards himself (Cannes Grand Prix, Cannes
Lions, D&AD, Clio AWARD, etc), Shaun has extensive experience
as an award judge and chairman both in Australia and overseas.
In 2006 & 2007 he was Chairman of AWARD Interactive in Australia
and recently he judged at Adfest, 4As (Kam Fan), Spikes & Kancils.
Before leaving Australia to work in Asia, Shaun was CD at Young
& Rubicam Sydney for six years, In 2002 he was named one of
the top 5 Creative Directors in Australia by leading business publication
BRW Weekly.
A graduate of Macquarie University he is married with two young
boys.
He used to have hair.
Creative consultant for Kult. Steve Lawler is a leading-edge interactive
designer with extensive experience working around the world for
many top name clients and international brands. From his start at
FABRICA (Benettons research & communication centre) he has worked
with some of the best practicing artists & designers alive today.
After his first job at Diesel, he was quickly snapped up by Ogilvy
in Asia as Senior Art Director 5 years ago. Since leaving, he has
led several global projects and worked independently for people
requiring his specialist skills. P

Tanbir is the VP, Asia Pacific with The Hyperfactory. With business
development and Asia region expansion responsibilities, Tanbir is
driving the growth of The Hyperfactory from New Zealand to India.
Tanbir’s experience in mobile started when he was leading
the Asian market entry of Mobizines, the leading mobile publishing
solution used by the likes of BBC, Reuters and Forbes.
During the Internet revolution, Tanbir was an early founding team
member of a small web development company which over the next 5
years became the international e-business solution provider Ion-Global
with over 1,500 staff in ten countries. The company was acquired
by chinadotcom prior to its heralded listing on NASDAQ and Tanbir
retained a senior management position responsible for regional business
development.
Tanbir's expertise lies in the business and marketing application
of technology. He has extensive experience in developing new business,
engaging multinational clients at a regional level and coordinating
large digital projects. His experience spans the public and private
sectors including financial services, transportation, travel, telecommunications,
utilities and government. Tanbir also has strong experience in leading
market entries across Asia and Europe and has founded and led 2
digital companies in Asia.
Yasuharu joined Dentsu in 1995. As a copywriter and an Interactive
Creative Director, he has worked with a variety of clients including:
Honda, Kirin, Toshiba, Seiko, Shueisha, and Kyowa Hakko.
He has received international awards at Cannes, Clio, New York Festivals,
the One Show and Asia-Pacific AdFest. He was also a jury member
of Cannes Cyber Lions, One Show Interactive, Clio, AdFest and Webby
Awards.
He loves kayaking, camping, fishing and watching wild animals. From
the rivers of Mongolia to the jungles of Madagascar, he pops up
all over the place.
