Justine graduated with a degree in Advertising from Royal Melbourne
Institute of Technology and began her career as a copywriter at
OgilvyOne Singapore in 1999. In 2003, she joined Saatchi & Saatchi
Singapore as an integrated copywriter.
She has won prestigious awards across all media, including a Best
of Show Gong (Singapore Creative Circle Awards) for a Print campaign
and 3 Best of Show Awards for Direct Marketing (John Caples International,
ADFEST and DM Asia). Her work has also won several awards at Cannes
International Advertising Festival, One Show, D&AD, Clio Awards
and Communication Arts Advertising Annual, The Work/Campaign Brief,
AWARD Australia, Media Advertising Awards, Asia Interactive Awards,
Asian Advertising Effectives Award, Effies Singapore Awards, The
Webby Awards and Singapore Advertising Hall of Fame.
Justine is currently a Creative Group Head at TBWA\Tequila Singapore.
David Brown is addicted to detail. From a tender age he was assembling
Lego bricks into chronological size and color to his unusual addiction
to straight lines. His parents knew they had to funnel this obsessive
compulsive disorder into something productive for society.
David spent his first digital years riding through the dot com boom
as Deputy Creative Director of Euro RSCG Interaction Sydney after
which he emerged to co-found the highly successful and award winning
digital agency Soap Creative in Sydney. In 2004 he shifted his talents
to London as the Creative Director for Euro RSGC 4D / EHS Brann
where he helped guide his team on some of the most their successful
digital and integrated campaigns to date across local and global
accounts.
Over the past ten years David has led his creative and interactive
experience across consumer and B2B sectors ranging from automotive
all the way to tourism. With such clients as Intel, Mitsubishi,
Sony, Phillips, Orange, Volvo, Yahoo, 20th Century Fox, Virgin Atlantic,
Diageo, News of the World and Diesel. He is responsible for the
development and creative direction of numerous award winning projects,
recognised by such organizations as One Show, ADMA, BIMA, Caples,
Adtech, Yahoo and Cannes.
Originally from down under, David soon tired of the gloom or London
and his primal yearning for warm sun and tropical seas see's him
join the highly talented team at XM Singapore in 2008.
Hwee began her career as a Graphic Designer in 1991 after graduating
from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. After some years in publishing,
she packed her bags for Melbourne and obtained a BA in Advertising
from RMIT.
Upon returning to Singapore, she worked as an Art Director at Batey,
TBWA, Leo Burnett and Ogilvy. In 2004, she was headhunted to start
up Grey’s operations in Singapore.
In four short years, Hwee and her partner, Justin Lim, have grown
the agency by over 300%, adding on an impressive list of blue chip
clients and creative accolades as well.
Hwee is responsible for the creative standards of all of Grey’s
clients, such as AXA, Saab, Wyeth, F&N and Wildlife Reserves
of Singapore. Through the years, her work has received commendations
from the One Show, D&AD, Clio and Cannes.
If she’s not working away in the office, you can find Hwee
at the driving range or peddling her rented bike along East Coast.
Priti started her career in India armed with an M.B.A that she’s
been trying to live down ever since.
After a few years of the usual musical chairs with various agencies,
she landed up at Leo Burnett Singapore where among other work, she
did the SPCA ‘Can’t find your pet campaign?’ that was accepted into
the D&AD, and got a Gold at Times AsiaPac, 2 Bronzes at CLIO, another
one at AdFest and CCA, as well as being a Cannes finalist.
A few years on came the Aquent ‘Been there too long?’ campaign that
picked up a Gold and Silver Lion at Cannes, a Bronze at Clio, a
Bronze at Times AsiaPac, a Gold, 3 Silvers and 3 Bronzes at the
CCA, 4 Bronzes and a Silver at AdFest, 2 Bronzes at Award Australia,
2 Silvers at the Andy Awards , Best of Copy at the Ink Awards as
well as being was accepted in the CA Advertising Annual and One
Show.
As it turned out, Priti had been there too long and a while ago,
moved to DDB Singapore as Creative Group Head. Recent work includes
the Wonderbra ‘Economist’ ad that’s been accepted into the CA Advertising
Annual, was finalist at Cannes and got a Bronze at last year’s CCA,
the JH Kim ‘Taekwondo’ series that was accepted into the One Show
and was a finalist at Cannes, as well as the World Vision 'Carpet'
direct mailer that was accepted into the D&Ad this year.
Steve has over 16 years of integrated creative and design experience.
He first started out in Wales and later joined the Marketing Store
Worldwide, working on promotional, direct marketing and design solutions
for Bass Breweries with brands such as Grolsch, and the launch of
Carling Premier into the UK market.
Steve moved to Singapore in 1996 and has spent the past 12 years
in the region. In Singapore, he serviced clients in the entertainment,
business, hotel & resort, retail and property sectors, developing
marketing collaterals for Singapore, Indonesia and the Philippines.
In 1997 Steve joined TEQUILA Singapore and for the next 6 years
successfully enjoyed working with clients and brands such as DBS
Bank, Visa International, Martell, Chivas Regal, StarHub, Shell,
Sentosa, Palm, Standard Chartered Bank, Rothmans, ESPN Star Sports,
and Philips Consumer Electronics.
In 2003, Steve then moved to Hong Kong to help establish and build
the creative offering of TEQUILA Hong Kong. While there, Steve oversaw
and worked on projects for Heineken Hong Kong, including the highly
successful and award winning integrated launch of Heineken-ito.
Further to his role as Creative Director for TEQUILA, Steve was
passionate about working in an integrated fashion developing through-the-line
and media neutral creative ideas. In 2007 Steve joining Bates141
as ECD to further his desire of developing creative ideas and consumer
experiences that communicate and touch people beyond traditional
media channels.
A proud Welshman, Steve is also a former Singapore National rugby
player and an avid sportsman.
Tan Kien Eng, or Kien as he is more commonly known, is acknowledged
as Malaysia’s leading direct marketing creative with years
of experience on varied industries and accounts under his belt.
Ranging from airlines to telecommunications, Kien’s work has
won over 200 major awards such as the Grand and Gold New York Festivals,
Gold Caples International Awards, four out of six ‘Best of
Shows’ at the Malaysian Direct Marketing Award, AdFest, Asian
Direct Marketing Awards, the Echo International awards. The most
recent is his recent win at the 2006 Cannes Advertising Festival,
four Gold and a Silver Lions.
His credentials stretch further as a founding member of the Malaysian
Graphic Design Association, and a council member of Direct Marketing
Association Malaysia and Country Chairperson for John Caples International
Awards representing Malaysia and Singapore. A speaker at various
Direct Marketing and Branding seminars in Malaysia, Singapore and
Thailand, Kien has also contributed articles in press and industry
related magazines.
As Managing Director, he oversees all people, creative and business
development for Leo Burnett & Arc Worldwide covering six key
disciplines – Shopper Retail Marketing, Public Relations,
Direct Marketing, Events, Promotions and Digital Interactive Advertising,
with a belief that creativity has the power to transform human behavior.
